Breaded stuffed meatloaf recipe

Time: 1 hour

Performance: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 grated onion
  • 2 tablespoons cream of onion powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • Salt, oregano and chopped green chilli to taste
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella
  • 1 cup grated ham
  • Wheat flour for breading
  • Fry oil
  • Grated mozzarella and parmesan for sprinkling

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, mix the meat, onion, onion cream, egg, flour, salt, oregano and green pepper until a smooth mixture forms.
  2. Open portions of dough between your hands, divide the mozzarella and ham between them and close again forming slightly flattened discs.
  3. Dredge them in wheat flour and fry them, little by little, in boiling oil until golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. In a refractory container, add a little tomato sauce and place the polpetones on top.
