«I remain the author. I have millions of ideas to air,” the writer said

Walcyr Carrasco denies leaving him Land and passion, the current 9pm Globo soap opera, and criticized the news spread about his health. “They kept speculating about my health, whether I would return… I’m still the author of it. I have millions of ideas to air,” he said in a video published Thursday on his social networks, 28.

According to the writer, in the last few days, he has been facing a series of problems that have come and gone. And what started with cataract surgery evolved into femur surgery after a fall. “It was enough for all kinds of news to come out. They practically put me in a coffin”, he commented.

In the video, Walcyr also explained that the partnership with Thelma Guedes it had already been planned from the first intervention. “Thelma Guedes is a great author. What she is doing is a favor for me, because I was about to have cataract surgery,” she commented.

But that doesn’t mean he stopped working on the screenplay Land and passion“Secret: I wrote it from the hospital. We created scenes from the hospital. Everything in the air was thought of by the three of us. A lot of it was thought of by Thelma, who is a great author. I was there, throbbing, talking, and now I’m back,” he said. “I don’t think there’s much drama in someone getting sick from an illness that, by all accounts, lasted 12 days. I’m just saying that, not because I want to talk too much about myself or a problem I’ve had. But, so that people understand that speculation is a bad thing.”
