The interior designer Mariana Ribeiro and his partner, the architect and landscape designer Pedro Siqueirasign the Arcos washbasin to the show Experience more Rio 2023. The concept of the project is the fusion between technology and historical restoration of an environment, presenting an approach that enriches the space, but has a social purpose. Located in a historic building with architecture similar to Portugueseor The site is notable for its arches and a panoramic view of Christ the Redeemer. By integrating technology in specific ways, the partners applied modern and historical elements, bringing a Brazilian touch and a connection to the nature of the Tijuca Forest.
“By redesigning the arches and using AI-developed wallpaper, we managed to create a tropical atmosphere that echoes the essence of Rio,” he says.
One of the innovations in this environment is the use of wallpaper produced with the help of artificial intelligence, provided by STICKDECOR. “The collaboration between human creativity and artificial intelligence was impressive and the result is a truly unique wallpaper pattern,” he says Thiago Cunha, creator of the product. Furthermore, the product is environmentally friendly and can be easily removed without causing damage to the walls.
The worktop is covered in adhesive vinyl, 100% washable. The original mirror has been preserved and restored, maintaining the historical authenticity of the space.
