Playing with rubber penises: risk of infection?

Doctor, basically I have some pretty irresponsible friends. One of them pulled a rubber vibrator out of his backpack and hit me on the head, near the forehead. But soon I discovered that he was found on the street, I don’t know how long ago. In other words, maybe it was used and maybe it was infected, I have no idea. I tried not to touch anything, I ran to the shower, I sanitized everything, my hands and everything. Am I at risk?

I think it’s very unlikely that you contracted an STI (sexually transmitted infection) because of this prank your friends played on you – a prank that was a bit in bad taste, in my opinion.

Of course, since we don’t know the origin of the sex toy, it’s always good to be careful. Afterwards it is advisable to wash the area with soap and water, as you did, and to remain calm.

Ask your friends not to play these types of pranks again. Now, if something different appears, an injury where the rubber penis touches your head, then I would recommend that you see a doctor. But, in general, you can rest assured that there are no major risks.
