Hasselback Potatoes – ROASTING (part I):

  1. Arrange the potatoes on a buttered baking tray, sliced ​​side up.
  2. In a non-metallic bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
  3. Add salt, pepper and paprika and stir to incorporate the butter.
  4. Using a pastry brush (optional), spread half the seasoned butter over the potatoes and between the blades.
  5. Place the potato(s) on a baking tray(s), preferably non-stick or greased, and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C and cook for approximately 20 minutes.

Hasselback Potatoes – ROASTING (part II):

  1. Remove the pan from the oven and coat the potatoes with butter.
  2. Return to the oven and cook for another 20 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked – test with a fork or toothpick – and the surface is golden.
  3. Turn off the oven and remove the tray(s).
