Next, you can check out options for wetland attractions without having to take highways, such as the Guarapiranga Reservoir, the Cantareira Forest and the Marsilac neighborhood, home to waterfalls fed by the Capivari, considered the last clean river in the city .

The region has attractions such as a freshwater beach, walking trails, areas to enjoy nautical activities and even boat rental by the hour at the Clube de Campo do Castelo, where you can rent boats for itineraries ranging from 2 hours in duration until the overnight stay on board. with dinner and breakfast at sunset.

These waterfalls can be accessed via a trail, in the middle of the Primitive Atlantic Forest, in a road map 7 kilometers and medium difficulty level. Wonder Farm
Like Selva SP, this is also an attraction of the Sao Paulo Ecotourism Centre, a tourist itinerary that includes the attractions of Parelheiros, Marsilac and the island of Bororé.
This private rural property is located in Embura do Alto, in the district of Marsilac, the last neighborhood of São Paulo, in the far south of the city.
Featuring parking, a camping area, community kitchen and bathrooms, the farm is home to three waterfalls (Sagui, Oásis and Raios de Sol), accessible via trails ranging from a 20-minute walk to 8km in length.

Cantareira Forest
Few people know it, but north of São Paulo there is a waterfall to cool off in, in a preserved area of the Atlantic Forest.
OR Greaserone of the four centers of the Cantareira Forest, it is located in the Tremembé district and has three paths: Macuco, go mountain biking and Cachoeira.
All hiking options are of low difficulty and through natural terrain. The one in Cachoeira, for example, is self-guided, 3 km long and lasts about 1h30 round trip.

Serra do Mar State Park
In nearby São Bernardo do Campo, Parque Caminhos do Mar is another option for cooling off, very close to the capital.
Located in Itutinga-Pilões, one of the ten centers of Serra do Mar State Park, the park is home to the Cachoeira da Torre trail, which gives access to a series of small waterfalls for swimming.
