Under Armor Tribase Cross SE, sold for R $ 549.99, was created and manufactured in Brazil to be used in bodybuilding or crossfit
Under Armor launches the Tribase Cross SE, a sneaker designed to meet the intense needs of users in various modalities, such as gym, crossfit and functional. Developed and produced in Brazil by Vulcabras, owner of the brand in the country, the launch aims to satisfy those who lift weights, but also do not give up a light run on the treadmill or on the street as a complement. And he does this very well.

From the first contact with your feet, the Tribase Cross SE stands out for its comfort. Its upper, made of straight mesh, without grooves and in the shape of a sock, makes the sneaker easy to wear and without burrs that bother the feet. Mainly on the instep, where sneakers tend to “stick” more.
However, despite being a sock-type mesh, the upper is stiffer than other models I’ve tried, giving more stability to the foot when lifting weights even without an internal lining from the heel forward. The programmable deformations and lateral supports already guarantee the correct fit and help with the weight of 333 grams.

Another interesting aspect is the application of TPU on the toe cap, which reinforces the entire front structure of the sneaker and gives greater protection to the toes in the event of an accidental kick against the device or weight. It’s not a metal toe cap, if the five kilo weight falls on your foot it hurts, but it could mean the difference between a fracture and a dislocation. I also liked the lace-up, tight, attached to the sneakers, and with the short lace. The chance of it getting stuck somewhere is almost nil.

In terms of cushioning and sole, fundamental to the success of the shoe, it was a positive surprise. All rounded models, made for LPO and racing, are generally average for both and good for neither. The Tribase Cross SE, thanks to its Micro G cushioning, which generates comfort with high compression, manages to hold your feet firmly during squats and ensure an adequate amount of shock absorption during running.

The sole technology gives the sneaker its name
Additionally, the outsole’s Tribase rubber technology, which gives the shoe its name, provides exceptional traction and grip on a variety of surfaces. Increase the feeling of security in steps, legs and HITs. The anatomical molded EVA footbed adapts well to the foot and prevents slipping even when damp with sweat. Additionally, the new asymmetric TPU heel stabilizer provides additional stability in strategic locations, helping prevent injuries and keeping your feet properly aligned during training.
Available in three color options (blue, white and black) and in sizes ranging from 34 to 44, the Tribase Cross SE is on sale on the Under Armor website for R $ 549.99.
