“A good daily portion would be a cup of chopped fruit, about 130 g of fruit pre or post workout. It can be an interesting suggestion for most athletes. Rich in vitamins and minerals, it contributes to the immune system and has an anti-aging action inflammatory action, important for the recovery of the athlete on a systemic level”, confirmed Adriana in an exclusive interview with Sport Life.
It should be remembered that there is no caloric difference between consuming carbohydrates during the day or at night. Mango therefore stands out as a suggestion for consumption and, above all, for promoting physical exercise.
“Mango is a tropical fruit rich in fiber and a good source of carbohydrates. It is excellent to include in the diet of athletes, providing energy for good physical activity and helping the recovery of muscles and joints”, explained the nutritionist.

The mango is the Indian fruit, “landed” on Brazilian soil in the 17th century thanks to the Portuguese colonizers. This fruit is also well known to Asians.
