Discover three activities that help balance the soda intake in your diet
Drinking a refreshing can of soda with ice for dieters can lead to some regrets. But come on, a 350ml can contains around 37 grams of sugar, depending on the flavor and brand, for a total of 149 calories, but there’s no need to panic. Physical educator Ronaldo Godoi explains that you can indulge in this cold, gas-filled little pleasure by combining it with an exercise routine. With this in mind, he has prepared a list of three effective activities for the ideal balance between food and soft drinks.
Bodybuilding
Alone it can be an effective mechanism for weight loss and does not need to be accompanied by aerobic exercise. “Movements such as weight lifting, when combined with a controlled calorie deficit, help reduce body fat. But to achieve results, all you need to do is engage in weight training at least three times a week and drink a can of soda, a day of moderate intensity training,” explains the physical educator.

Dances
For many people, dancing is much more fun than exercises like weight lifting, but losing weight while dancing isn’t that easy. If you want to drink a can of soda and want this activity to become a technique for burning the calories ingested from the can, it is important to dedicate yourself to it for at least 30 continuous minutes, maintaining a light to moderate pace. “You don’t need a strict daily schedule, just dedicate time to this, at least three times a week, and you will be on the right track to achieving your goals,” adds Ronaldo.
Muay Thai
Muay Thai – or Thai boxing – is a dynamic sport that promotes the improvement of physical condition, muscle strengthening, increases elasticity and promotes good cardiovascular functioning. “A class lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. This fight combines several strikes and other physical exercises such as running, push-ups, sit-ups and jumping rope. Depending on the weight and intensity level, it is possible to burn more than a thousand calories in an hour of training,” says Godoi.
