Come and find out what they are and what to do to stimulate collagen and achieve much firmer skin:
Collagen, known as the skin protein, is often associated with youth. Because it provides structure, compactness and elasticity (resistance to the dermis). The problem is that as we age, already around the age of 20, we lose 1% of collagen per year. This percentage rises to 30% in the first five years of menopause. Therefore, I have brought some myths and truths and tips on what you can do to keep your skin firm.
Come and find out what they are and what to do to stimulate collagen and achieve much firmer skin:
Diet plays a vital role in skin health and collagen production.
REAL. Food that does not contain protein does not contain collagen. Therefore, invest in a good diet, with sources of eggs, meat, beans and seeds (chia, flaxseeds and walnuts). Reduce or avoid fried, spicy foods, excess salt and sugar.
Biotechnological products stimulate collagen.
REAL. Because they treat it by nourishing the cells, from the inside out. Look for active ingredients such as apple stem cells, theobroma cacao with carcinine, coffea arabica, pearl powder, plankton extract (rich in mineral salts).
Facial mask can improve skin elasticity.
Depends. Only if you use active ingredients, such as pumpkin, a natural antioxidant with amino acids, which help to tone, due to the skin’s high water retention power. Just like gold, which is a precious stone, and if used as a face mask it provides a lifting effect, contributing to the elasticity of the skin.
The repetitive movements of facial gymnastics tighten the face.
REAL. It’s like you’re doing weight training. If it has an effect on the body, the same goes for the face, as it can give greater firmness, giving the tissues more vitality. Not to mention, it provides relaxation and also stimulates circulation, which can improve wrinkles and fine lines.
Collagen comes only from animal sources.
Myth. I have been a pioneer in the field for over 30 years. Stimulation of collagen with amino acids
which come from fruit, such as green apples, which act on the germinal layer of cells, and from vegetables. Through the sequence of amino acids I can stimulate the fibroblasts which improve the skin’s collagen, restoring firmness, shine and vitality.
