Ingredients:
- 6 fillet mignon steaks, 2cm thick
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon ice water
- 6 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) breadcrumbs
Fry oil
- 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) seasoned tomato sauce (purchased ready-made)
- 300 g of grated mozzarella
Preparation method:
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper
- Lightly beat the egg and water with a fork in a shallow dish
- Dip the steaks in the wheat flour, the egg beaten with water and the breadcrumbs, pressing well to make it adhere.
- Fry, little by little, in boiling oil until golden brown.
- Drain them on absorbent paper and then place them in a refractory baking dish.
