Steak Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • 6 fillet mignon steaks, 2cm thick
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon ice water
  • 6 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) breadcrumbs

    Fry oil

  • 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) seasoned tomato sauce (purchased ready-made)
  • 300 g of grated mozzarella

Preparation method:

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper
  2. Lightly beat the egg and water with a fork in a shallow dish
  3. Dip the steaks in the wheat flour, the egg beaten with water and the breadcrumbs, pressing well to make it adhere.
  4. Fry, little by little, in boiling oil until golden brown.
  5. Drain them on absorbent paper and then place them in a refractory baking dish.
  6. Cover with sauce and sprinkle with cheese
  7. Bake in a preheated medium oven for 15 minutes and then serve.
