A car equipped with it allows, for example, to open a car door or start the engine without taking out the key. It is enough if it is somewhere nearby, in your pocket or bag.
However, as soon as the first lucky owners of cars equipped with KeyLess-Go began using their cars, one unfortunate thing became clear: the system was vulnerable. And attackers with special relay equipment can fake a “conversation” between the car and the key and take possession of an expensive vehicle.
Until now, manufacturers have not found a way to reliably protect the communication channel between the key and the car, so the “Kulibins” got down to business.
