Modern journalist Esre receives the assignment from the editorial staff to prepare materials on the anniversary of the historic Pera Hotel in Istanbul. The kind manager Ahmet tells the girl stories about the hotel and its famous guests. However, it hides the most important secret: a time portal is hidden in one of the rooms. Of course, Esra miraculously manages to take advantage of this, and she finds herself at the heart of the political events of the 19th century. Now the girl’s goal is nothing more and nothing less, but to prevent an assassination attempt against the historical figure Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

However, the girls’ interests and priorities are very different: Ekim is content with a modest life, while Leila dreams of getting out of the hole and becoming rich and successful. She receives a scholarship that promises to be a ticket to a better life, but she gets hit by a car and ends up in a wheelchair instead of sitting in an office at a prestigious school. She has no choice but to launch her own investigation: she dreams of taking revenge for her friend’s broken life and dream. The search brings the young girl into the company of the spoiled children of the city’s richest people…
Surgeon Kemal (Ozan Akbaba) has golden hands, he saves lives every day. This doctor could work in a better commercial clinic, but chooses a free regular hospital. Kemal also has a heart of gold, because he feels responsible for his younger colleagues, helping them to master their profession and at the same time draw a line between their personal and professional lives. It is impossible not to mention one of the most sought-after Turkish television series by viewers. The premiere of “The Tailor” (the working title of the series was “The Dressed Scarecrow” / Süslü Korkuluk) was expected throughout 2022, but according to the latest information from the actors participating in the project, the first episode will be broadcast in January 2023. But the wait will be justified by the fact that filming began with the Turkish channel, the digital platform Netflix joined in. This provided the budget and prospects – they immediately began filming the second season, and in total “The Tailor” is guaranteed to have three seasons, all contracts have already been signed.

A tailor endowed with the talent of a real couturier, Peyami, falls passionately in love with his client Esvet, and everything would be fine, except that the girl orders a wedding dress. There is also a Russian trace in the film – Peyami’s insidious but charming enemy is called Dmitry. Viewers will have to understand the complexity of emotions and human connections against the backdrop of breathtaking views of Istanbul.
