Potato Bread With Sausage Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 30 g of fresh organic yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm milk
  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups boiled and juiced potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 4 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour
  • 4 slices chopped pepperoni
  • 2 cups Catupiry® cream cheese (200 g each)
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Preparation method:

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk, add the margarine, egg, potato, sugar, salt and mix.
  2. Add the flour little by little, mixing until it comes away from your hands.
  3. Transfer to a smooth surface and knead for 5 minutes.
  4. Form a ball, cover and leave to rest for 40 minutes or until doubled in volume.
  5. Roll out small portions of dough, fill with peppers and cream cheese.
  6. Form balls and place them on a greased and floured baking tray.
  7. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
  8. Brush on the egg yolk and bake in a preheated medium oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve your potato bread with sausage.
