Blender cheese balls: practical and easy to make

The cheese ball is one of the most popular snacks in Brazil. An obligatory presence at birthday parties and snacks in pastry shops, this snack attracts attention for its simplicity and delicious flavour.




When you feel like eating some snacks, but don’t know where to buy them or don’t have time to prepare a complex recipe, try the blender cheese ball. In addition to being easy, this preparation method is also very quick and produces enough to satisfy your hunger and still have leftovers!

Blender cheese balls recipe

Time: 1 hour

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) water
  • 1 cup cooked and juiced cassava
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted margarine
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 200 g of diced mozzarella or provolone
  • 2 eggs beaten for breading
  • Breadcrumbs for breading
  • Fry oil

Preparation method:

  1. Blend the flour, water, cassava, chicken broth, eggs, margarine and salt in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into a pan and heat over medium heat, stirring until it thickens and comes away from the bottom of the pan.
  3. Let it cool, transfer it to a smooth surface and knead until it cools.
  4. Open pieces of dough between your hands, place a cube of cheese in each and form into balls.
  5. Dip it in the egg and breadcrumbs
  6. In a pan, over high heat, fry, little by little, in hot oil until golden.
  7. Drain on absorbent paper and serve the cheese ball.
