Banana and cinnamon biscuits recipe

Time: 30 minutes (+30 minutes in the fridge)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup mashed banana
  • Approximately 1/3 cup of milk
  • Powdered sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl mix the flour, salt, sugar and margarine and work with your fingertips until you obtain a crumb-like consistency.
  2. Add the banana and mix.
  3. Pour in the milk, little at a time, kneading until you obtain a homogeneous mixture and divide into 2 portions.
  4. Form a cylinder like a salami, wrap it in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Cut into 0.4 mm slices, spread them on a large baking tray and bake in a preheated medium oven for 12 minutes or until dry and lightly golden.
  6. Leave to cool, sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon mixture and serve.
  7. Store in a closed container for up to 5 days.
