Indoor camera footage shows the animal leaning against the stove and then the fire ignited, smoke and an explosion.

Accidentally, a dog set fire to the kitchen of a house in Parkville, Missouri on Friday 10th. Images from an indoor camera show the moment when the animal leans against the stove and then the appliance is turned on.
The head of the Southern Platte District Fire Division suggested that the dog’s paw activated a touch-sensitive button.
The blazing flame heated a pan that had been left on the stove and possibly contained oil.
Thick smoke fills the kitchen and an explosion occurs soon after. The owners of the house were out and the incident caught the attention of the neighbors, who called the local fire department.
The protection team rescued two dogs that were in the house, whose kitchen was completely destroyed, as shown in a photo posted on the Newsweek website (see here). No one – human or animal – was injured.
