The recipe is sweet and sour and moist, complementing the other attractions of the Christmas feast. It is also very simple to prepare and prepares quickly. Find out how to prepare farofa by following the instructions below:

Performance: 6 servings
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup (tea) olive oil
- 2 cups diced bacon
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 cup chopped pitted black plums
- 1 cup chopped green olives
- 1 grated carrot
- 3 cups coarse cassava flour
- Salt, black pepper and chopped green chilli to taste
- 2 tablespoons margarine
Preparation method:
- Add the olive oil and bacon to a pan, cook over medium heat until lightly browned.
- Add the onion and garlic and fry until golden brown
- Add the plum, olive and carrot and sauté for 1 minute
- Add cassava flour, green chillies, salt and pepper to taste and mix well
- Remove from the heat, add the margarine and mix again.
- Then serve hot or cold.
