An expert in Vastu, the ancient Vedic science of spatial organization, explains how to prepare for the new year. So that there is happiness and abundance in the house!
Every December, the smell of tangerines appears in our homes, the atmosphere of the holiday and, of course, it is a fluffy green beauty – a New Year’s tree!
This tradition has existed for a long time with us. The custom of planting a Christmas tree in the house appeared in Russia at the beginning of the 18th century, during the time of Peter I. Then this tradition was forgotten and revived in the 19th century at the suggestion of Alexandra Fedorovna (the wife of Nicholas I). Nobles competed with each other in Christmas tree decorations and decorated them with precious stones, pearls and expensive fabrics.
This custom came and went and finally consolidated in 1935, when the trees began to be called “New Year” and appeared in every house on the eve of the holiday. And now a decorated Christmas tree is the main attribute of the New Year’s atmosphere!
But did you know that a Christmas tree can not only decorate your home and create a festive atmosphere, but it can also attract good luck and prosperity to your home and family? To do this, you must install the Christmas tree in the “right” place in the house and it will then become a real “conductor” of your desires in the Universe! The Christmas tree is a powerful “activator” and conductor of the energy of prosperity; its cone-shaped shape (pyramid) is an ideal tool for broadcasting and transmitting information to the Universe. Conifers themselves are a symbol of the Universe, they are tuned to communicate with it in a certain frequency range. Look at the hands: they are miniature transmitters.

And if you want to live and spend 2023 in prosperity, health, happiness and prosperity, listen to these tips.
Where to put the Christmas tree?
You can’t put a Christmas tree everywhere in the house! If you place a Christmas tree in the “wrong” place, you can “block” happiness and good luck in the New Year.
Each year is under the protection of its planet. Let’s look at the year 2023 from the point of view of numerology and add up all the numbers of the year 2+2+3, we get 7. Seven is the number of Ketu. Ketu is a ghost planet, or rather the lunar south node. In its characteristics and properties, Ketu is very similar to Mars; in astrology, Ketu is called the “second Mars”. And Mars is a fiery and warlike planet, Mars is a celestial military commander! The symbol of Mars is a spear protruding from a shield.
Mars in the house is responsible for the southern zone, so it is important to take great care of the stability, balance and harmony of this zone so that the negative energies of Mars do not bring destruction and loss in your life in the new year. You can “strengthen” and “anchor” the southern area using pyramids! And the Christmas tree is a “living pyramid”. Therefore, this year it is better to place the tree in the southern zone of the house – this way you will weigh down and crush the south, and this is what we need to achieve.
If you are unable to place a Christmas tree in the south area of the house for example, your front door or bathroom is located on the south side. Then choose a location for the Christmas tree in the southeast, southwest or west part of the house – these areas are also prone to weight and soil.
Do not install the Christmas tree in the northwest, north, northeast and east areas of the house and in the center of the apartment/house/land. All these zones attract positive energy, new opportunities, happy events, prosperity to your home, and if you “block” them with a living pyramid (Christmas tree), then you will block your luck and prosperity for new Year. And there’s no magic in it – it’s the laws of physics!
If you are installing a Christmas tree on your country plot, then the rules are the same: choose a location for the tree only in the south, southwest, west or southeast part of the plot.
What day should you put up the Christmas tree?
This year, it is best to put up the tree on December 18, 19 or 20, so that by the winter solstice (December 21), your tree is already decorated.
