The Desire Board is a fantastic tool to leverage our goals and can be enhanced by Feng Shui
Called the Vision Board in English, the Desire Board is a fantastic tool that uses our home and our power of self-suggestion to advance our goals.
In this article we will see how to create an even more powerful Wish Table with the help of Feng Shui.
On the Wish Board we can dream big. We do not need to limit our desires to what our rational mind, often mistakenly, judges to be the most we are capable of achieving.
We can and must dream, leaving the Universe the task of filtering which desires are most appropriate or achievable at this moment in our lives.
It is natural for humans to always seek evolution. Therefore the Desire Board accompanies our growth and our transformations, it is mutant! Therefore, when we achieve a goal represented there, we can exchange the image corresponding to that desire with another, expanding our dreams.

Next, find out what it is and a step-by-step guide on how to make your own Dream Board.
Wish Board: what is it
Simply put, the Desire Board is a poster where we represent our desires and goals with images and words. It could be, for example, a magnetic board, a cork board or even cardboard. The important thing is not the material, but what we add to the image.
The first step is to search, for example, in magazines, books and the Internet for photographs, words and phrases that symbolize our deepest desires and goals in life.
Before selecting the images, the ideal is to reflect, listing everything we want in our life, the changes we want to make and the goals we want to achieve.
Then, we will translate it into images that reflect our desires as realistically as possible.
The frame must be placed in an intimate place
We must place the Wish Board in an intimate area, preferably our bedroom, thus avoiding convivial areas of the house, such as the living room or kitchen. After all, it is not advisable to expose our goals and desires to anyone who enters our home.
Once in the room, the painting must be fixed in a visible and visible place. We can only place it inside the wardrobe door, for example, if we use it daily, preferably more than once a day. Why this recommendation?
Every day we will look at our desires represented on the blackboard, we will meditate on them and we will experience the feeling of having already achieved those goals.
We can also reflect on what actions we can take to get closer to achieving those goals. The ideal is therefore to do this little exercise when you wake up and before going to sleep.
If the blackboard is in a visible place, at any time of the day its message will reach your eyes and activate these sensations in the brain, strengthening your intention. Therefore, the painting is more effective if left visible.
Step by step to create the Wish Table with Feng Shui
Those who love Feng Shui certainly know it Baguá (find out everything here!)the octagon where each of the eight directions represents an area of our life and which, superimposed on the floor plan, allows us to identify in which room of the house we should activate each of the areas of our life.

To apply the Baguá to the Wishlist, we will divide it as in a game of tic-tac-toe, defining eight peripheral areas, plus the center (as in the image on the side).
Each of these nine parts will refer to one of the areas of life, that is, following the same distribution as the Baguá.
Prosperity zone

In the top left corner we have the Prosperity area. This is not just about money and wealth, but about a life governed by abundance on all levels.
It is prosperity in the sense of being able to realize our full potential in the financial sector.
We will place in this area the images that represent our ideals of wealth and abundance and everything we wish to achieve in our material life.
It could be a car, a trip, a pot full of money or even a photo of us on the beachif this represents what you want to achieve from financial success.
Area of fame

At the top center is the Fame area on our Feng Shui wish board.
Fame is the public recognition of our talent, our ability and commitment to succeed in the activities we carry out. Fame is not necessarily linked to work.
A person, for example, who carries out philanthropic activities can be socially recognized and exert an influence on others thanks to the relevance of his activities.
Another example: a housewife may feel gratified and successful in her tasks when she observes her family’s well-being or receives family and social recognition for her efforts.
Furthermore, for a student, success can be associated with good grades or passing a competition.
Area of emotional relationships

In the top right corner we find the Affective Relationships area. This area can be worked on by both those who are single and those in a relationship.
Here we can represent our desires for love, complicity and affection in a relationship that already exists. Or encourage more adventure and desire in the relationship, if that’s your dream.
You can make montages with your photos or use photos of couples that visually represent your ideals, for example.
If you are already in a relationship, you can include photos of the good times between the couple, which you want to be a constant in the relationship. If you are alone, you obviously won’t use photos from old relationships. Furthermore, stimulating phrases are also very useful in relationships.
Creativity Area

On the right side of the table we have the Creativity area, also associated with children. She represents everything we create in life, what comes out of us into the world.
In this area, therefore, we can stimulate our creative potential, our ability to innovate, to open our minds to new ideas.
Another possibility is to indicate our ideals regarding our children, if we already have them, or activate the potential for an expected pregnancy.
Friends Zone

In the bottom right corner is the Friends area, which equally represents all the people who help and support us, be they mentors, teachers, leaders or spiritual guides.
This area is also associated with travel and this is where we will encourage it.
If you feel weak, lonely or want more support in your life and activities, include in this part images that represent all the support you want, whether emotional, material, intellectual or social.
Working area

The lower area of the Table of Wishes with Feng Shui is related to career, work and business. Therefore, we can include everything we want to achieve professionally.
If we are in a job that we feel does not reflect our soul’s mission, this is the right place to sow the seeds of career changes.
We must remember that financial reward has already been included in the Prosperity area and public recognition in the Fame area.
In the workplace we must only take care of our personal goals regarding satisfaction in the career we have chosen.
Think about what you would like to work on if money wasn’t a big part of the equation. This brings you closer to the task of identifying your soul’s mission. Remember not to limit your dreams and express your deepest desires here.
Area of spirituality

In the bottom left corner is the Spirituality area.
It therefore represents everything that is linked to our personal improvement, both on an intellectual, moral, emotional and spiritual level.
This area, therefore, includes traditional studies, spiritual practices, therapies, astrological studies (when focused on self-knowledge), meditation, among many others.
In this area we can use images that reflect our desire for transformation, personal mastery, inner balance and awareness.
Family area

In the area on the left side we find the Family. Here we must cultivate harmony in family and social relationships.
This area is also linked to our community, be it our neighborhood, work colleagues, etc.
It is an area that also influences our health, an aspect of life closely linked to our genetic heritage and our social well-being.
Furthermore, this is the area that deals with the wealth that comes to us from our parents or ancestors, our family heritage.
Downtown area

The center is the area that represents us, in all aspects of our lives.
Because all this work symbolizes our search for harmony and well-being. We are the balance point between all these aspects we face.
Here we can place a photo of ourselves, in a moment of peace, joy and satisfaction, an image that evokes the idea of balance.
Wish Board: why do it?

This is our complete picture. But you may be wondering: what is the advantage of creating a Wish Board? Feng Shuicompared to the traditional Wish Board?
If the center is the point of balance, the opposite sides must be balanced in our life, to have a fulfilling life. And now we can see how areas located in opposite directions are complementary.
We need to know ourselves internally, to know what is most beautiful to offer, so that we can build harmonious emotional relationships, giving and receiving love in a healthy way.
In the two horizontal areas, on the one hand there are our ancestors and our social ties, what we receive from the world; and on the other we have our children and what we leave as a legacy to the world.
On the other axis, on the one hand we have friends and mentors, who support us, protect us and encourage us; and on the other we have abundance, a manifestation of our well-applied potentials, in return for what we receive.
This axis also reminds us to remain connected to those who support us, even in times of great abundance.
In the vertical pair, work represents what we have solidly built in the world, and fame is the external manifestation of the results of this effort.
In any Desire Framework, we run the risk of focusing too much on one area, ultimately causing imbalances in our lives.
In the Feng Shui Desire Framework, we are naturally led to think about all aspects of life that contribute to our well-being. The result will definitely be better!
