Remember the case

Mingau was with a friend in a car near Praça do Ovo, in Paraty (RJ), when he was shot in the head by armed criminals. In a statement to the police, the friend said the two were going for a snack and had just withdrawn some money when they were attacked.

He underwent emergency intracranial surgery that day. Doctors responsible for the case reported that the bullet hit the left side of the artist’s brain and passed through his skull.
