The house gains a gourmet area and a kitchen with orange joinery and slate


The Morada 3112 office, which signed the project, gave full emphasis to cuisine and gourmet, creating a perfect space to receive

A couple who loves to entertain friends and family purchased this home 240 m2, built in the 1990s, in Brasilia. However, the gourmet area and kitchen, important environments for new residents, who love to entertain friends and relatives, were not given due importance. Then they called the office Address 3112 to bring about reform.




To renovate the gourmet space, the swimming pool, the kitchen, but also, use practical and unconventional materials and, with touches of color, the professionals have created a integrated recreation area and an orange kitchen.

The canopy frames were replaced by a larger, lower model, which functions as a bench, allowing residents to have a coffee while overlooking the pool and garden. There is also a small garden with rosemary and other spices.

In the kitchen, the waterproofed slate. In addition to its unique appearance, the coating has thermal properties and is easy to maintain. The joinery features slatted elements, which imitate cabinet doors and doors.

“In the gourmet we kept the woody tone and in the kitchen we worked on it orange lacquer contrasting with black. The lighting follows the minimalist line, with LED profiles in food preparation spaces and general lighting. The highlight was the black pendant clearly visible on the kitchen table,” explains the office.

Finally, the external area has gained m2 suspended metal pergola, fixed to the facade via steel cables and sheared steel finishes. The sunbeds are on a terrace while the bench with planter 5m is on the opposite side, on a concrete panel.
