Chef Enrico Villela traveled to southern Italy and created a summer menu for the house; check options and prices
The Italian restaurant in the northern area launches a summer menu with the creations of chef Enrico Villela. All the inspiration came from Southern Italy, where the professional travelled. And we brought it to you to know it in detail. Watch:
To begin with, there are three options. The shrimp crudi (raw pink prawns, stracciatella, Sicilian oil, pistachio and chives, served with naturally fermented focaccia – R$ 75), the Supplì al telephone (Carnaroli rice cake soaked in tomato and basil, stuffed with mozzarella, breaded and fried in house breadcrumbs and finished with tulha cheese – R$39) and the house salad (organic leaf mix, carrot pickles, confit tomatoes, raw tuna, orange bay leaves, sheep’s curd and almonds – R$65 ).
The main courses consist of various pastas such as Spaghetti al mare (fresh pasta, calamari in herb butter, raw tuna and bottarga – R$79) and Agnolotti del plin (fresh pasta filled with pink prawns and cabotiá pumpkin, finished with sour cream with mascarpone -R$84). For those who love meat, there is also the Cotoletta alla Milanese (pork ribs breaded and fried in homemade breadcrumbs, pickles with mustard and aioli, accompanied by romaine lettuce, wild rocket, basil, Sicilian cheese and tulha – R$ 78).
The octopus rice (Bomba rice melada with chilli varnish, Spanish chorizo, salsa verde, aioli and baked octopus – R$92) is another option, as is the Cipolla pizza, which has mozzarella, cream of cheese, onion tostadas, cream and onion molasses and chives – without tomato sauce (R$ 64). And obviously dessert couldn’t be missing. The Frangere il fiore is made of phyllo pastry filled with frangipane, whipped cream, salted caramel, orange pear and fresh peaches and is accompanied by corn crumble, spices and ginger ice cream (R$ 36). Also not to be missed is the house Tiramisu (layers of champagne biscuits soaked in coffee and Marsala, mascarpone cream, cocoa and cocoa nibs – R$42).
