Bobo shrimp
ingredients
- 1/2 kg of cleaned medium prawns
- 1 kg of cassava, peeled and cut into cubes
- 200ml coconut milk
- 4 tablespoons of Palm oil
- 1 yellow pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation method
In a pan, place the cassava, cover with water and cook over medium heat until very soft. Drain the water and keep the cassava. In a skillet, add the olive oil and place over medium heat to heat through. Then add the garlic and sauté until golden brown. Add the prawns and brown them for 3 minutes. Reserve.
In another pan, add the butter and place over medium heat to melt. Then add the onion and pepper and sauté for 5 minutes. Reserve. In a blender, place the cooked cassava, coconut milk, palm oil and sautéed onion and pepper and beat until creamy. Transfer the mixture to a pan, add the sautéed prawns and cook over medium heat until boiling. Season with salt and black pepper and serve immediately.
Tip: Serve the prawn bobó sprinkled with chopped coriander.
Shrimp with cream cheese
ingredients
- 1/2kg of peeled shrimp
- 300 g of cream
- 250g cream cheese
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation method
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the garlic and onion until golden. Add the prawns, season with salt and black pepper and mix. Add the cream and tomato paste and mix until smooth. Turn off the heat when the prawns are cooked. Transfer to a mold and cover with cream cheese. Place in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.

Shrimp Stroganoff
ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 grated onion
- 1/2 kg of cleaned prawns
- 1 lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons of brandy
- 100 g of mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons of Ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 200ml of cream
Preparation method
In a pan, add the butter and place over medium heat to heat. Then add the prawns and onion and sauté for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the brandy and let it evaporate a little. Add the mushrooms, ketchup and mustard and let boil for 5 minutes. Then, turn off the heat, add the cream and mix well. Serve immediately.
Tip: Serve the shrimp stroganoff sprinkled with green perfume.
Country shrimp
ingredients
- 1 kg of cleaned prawns
- 100 g of butter
- 50ml of oil
- 1 head of garlic with ends trimmed
- 1 lemon cut in half
- 3 tablespoons herbes de Provence
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation method
In a bowl, season the prawns with salt and black pepper and set aside. In a pan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat and add the garlic and lemon. Brown both sides and then add the prawns and herbs de Provence. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to brown all the prawns. Sprinkle with chives and parsley and serve immediately.
Cabbage salad with shrimp
ingredients
- 200 g of cleaned shrimp
- 1 head cabbage cut into strips
- 2 grated carrots
- 1 red onion cut into strips
- 50 g of mayonnaise
- 50 g of natural yogurt
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Chopped green chilli, salt, olive oil and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation method
In a container, season the prawns with salt, black pepper and paprika. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and brown the prawns. Reserve. In a container, mix the mayonnaise, yogurt, vinegar, sugar and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Add the cabbage, carrot and onion and mix.
