The accommodation booking platform Booking.com recently released the Traveler Review Awards with the friendliest destinations in Brazil.
To arrive at this ranking which rewards the excellence of tourism and hospitality service providers, the company considered the users’ evaluation scores, which must have an average equal to or greater than 8 (out of a total of 10).
“Interestingly, most of the destinations in 2024 are new to the list, i.e. they were not among the most welcoming last year – including São Bento do Sapucaí, Carrancas, Gonçalves, Flecheiras, Maraú, Cunha and Nova Petrópolis” , analyzes Nelson Benavides, Regional Manager of Booking.com in Brazil.
To make the list, destinations must have at least 50 accommodations. Another requirement is that only customers who have actually stayed in an accommodation, rented a car or taken a taxi can leave a review of the experience.
In a note sent to Travel by farethrough the press office, the company guarantees that the reviews are not modified or corrected and that site visitors can take them as an authentic reference to the experience of a real traveler.
