You can probably answer when was the last time you vacuumed the carpet or mopped the floor. But do you remember the last time you tidied up the walls?
Let’s see how you can quickly clean walls with different types of coatings and what you need for this: a specialized wall cleaner or a homemade cleaning solution.
How often should you wash your walls?
βItβs a trick question,β says Melissa Homer, a professional housekeeper. – It all depends on which room we are talking about. Kitchen and bathroom walls require regular cleaning; the living room and bedroom can be cleaned once a year. Ultimately, the wall itself will tell you that it’s time to pay attention to it: it will lose its freshly painted look and become dull from dust.
What to do before washing the walls?
Before you pull your wall cleaner, film solution, or foam cleaner out of your cupboard, prepare to clean. Remove paintings, watches and other decorative items. Then vacuum the walls – stand on a stool to reach the farthest corners. Use a soft nozzle that will not leave scratches or abrasions on the surface.

Get a bucket or bowl in which you will prepare the wall cleaning shampoo. We remind you that it is best to put away bleach: chlorinated baking soda will not work any better than regular baking soda, but it can harm your health: bleach can release substances that are extremely toxic if you add anything other than water.
