Director Gabriel Fontes follows the proposal of the first season and presents the culture, history and respective wine traditions of each country
At the helm of various audiovisual contents, including for the Globo channels, director Gabriel Fontes is preparing two new seasons of the series Origins, which now tells the universe of Argentine and Italian wines, in April and August respectively. The series will feature leading wine producers from both regions and new episodes will be available on the Mistral On channel on YouTube.
“The first season, which launched in December, was recorded in Portugal, the second in Argentina, which airs in April and the third season in Italy, which arrives on the channel in August. They are all about the legendary local wine producers of each of those countries”, says the director.
The series, therefore, promises to be a journey through the main producing and wine-growing regions, through the culture, history and traditions of wines. “In addition to many contents with advice for beginners and expert oenophiles; exclusive interviews; wine suggestions and food pairings” explains Gabriel, in a note.
About the ‘Origins’ series
The series in Portugal presents Quinta do Ribeirinho, by Luis Pato; Quinta do Vale Meão, by Franscisco Olazabal and Franscisco Olazabal Filho; Graham’s Port Lodge, by Dominic Symington; Quinta do Soalheiro, by António Luís Cerdeira; Palace Hotel Bussaco, by Alexandre Almeida; and they also show the importance of wine transportation.
The content is produced by Teresa Filmes, of which Gabriel is a partner, founder and director. The producer is known for the works of him as Contact us, with Julia Rabello for GNT, Miraculous World for Gloob, Famous by AlunaGeorge and not only, the fashion ones, which have become a specialty of the manufacturer.
