Carnival parties require drinks that are easy to drink and prepare. It’s expected to be hot for most of the country’s capitals and coasts over the holidays, and there’s nothing better than beating the heat with refreshing drinks.

For this carnival our choice fell on drinks with a ‘tropical’ flavour, with cocktails and combinations that focus on ingredients and fruits that are the expression of the beach, the sun and the heat. Find out below how to prepare these drinks that will give you energy during the party period.

Classic piña colada




We couldn’t start with another drink: the piña colada is a classic Central American drink, whose origin is attributed to Puerto Rico. Prepared according to the Lanikai recipe, this pineapple and coconut drink has a sweet flavor and is creamy, light and refreshing: everything you need to enjoy Carnival.

Jackfruit Friend

‘Cousin’ of our friend Caju, this drink from the Bia Hoi SP pub replaces the classic fruit with jackfruit in the recipe, thinking of the similar combination that the fruits offer to the cocktail. Five ingredients and less than five minutes are what you need to make this different and refreshing drink.

The suggestion for this drink is to use Umburana cachaça, aged in special barrels with wood of the same name, but you can opt for the good cachaça you prefer. This drink has a spicier flavor profile, resulting from the combination of ginger and passion fruit.
