EQUIPMENT

METERS

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Ingredients Creamy basil pesto sauce

– 1/2 cup(s) basil (leaves)

– 3 tablespoons coarsely chopped Brazil nuts (or walnuts)

– 3 tablespoons of grated parmesan

– 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

– 1/4 clove of garlic, chopped

– Salt to taste

– 1/4 unit of chili pepper, seedless, chopped

– 100 ml of fresh cream

PREPARATION:

1. Separate all the ingredients and utensils for the recipe

2. Peel and mince the garlic.

3. Wash the basil, separate the leaves. Let it dry on a paper towel.

4. Wash, remove the seeds and chop the chilli pepper.

5. Coarsely chop the walnuts or Brazil nuts.

6. If you didn’t buy it already grated, grate the parmesan.

PREPARATION:

Creamy basil pesto sauce:

1. In a food processor or mixer bowl, place the Brazil nuts or walnuts, grated Parmesan, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, salt and black pepper.

2. Beat until a smooth mixture forms.

3. Then add the basil leaves (well dried). Beat again until the ingredients are cut into microparticles: do not let them turn into a paste.

4. Finally add the fresh cream and mix, without beating, until it is completely incorporated.

5. Taste and, if necessary, add salt.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

1. Serve the creamy basil sauce in a gravy boat, or if you prefer, drizzle it directly onto your recipe, heating it if it is pasta.
