One woman criticized the Italian brand’s use of animal fur
An animal rights activist invaded the catwalk of Milan Fashion Week this Wednesday (21st) to protest against the use of fur by Italian brand Fendi.
The woman, a member of the animal rights NGO Peta, displayed a poster with the phrase “Animals are not dressed” and wrote the words “Wear your skin” and “Turn your back on animal skin” on her body.
The activist was quickly blocked by Fashion Week security, but it was enough for Peta to publish a video of the demonstration on social media.
Fashion weeks are among the favorite targets for animal rights activists to protest against the use of fur, a practice still widespread among haute couture brands. .
