Irresistible Italian straw cake
Preparation time: 35min (+2h in the fridge)
Performance: 8 servings
Difficulty level: easy
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk (tea)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 1 1/2 pack of cornstarch biscuits (300g)
- Crushed cornstarch biscuit to decorate
Brigadier
- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can of cream (300 g)
Preparation method:
- For the brigadeiro, place the semisweet chocolate, condensed milk, and butter in a pan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Turn off the heat, add to the cream and set aside.
- In a deep dish, mix the milk with the vanilla essence and pass the cornstarch biscuit into the mixture.
- To assemble, make layers of moistened biscuit and brigadeiro in a 22cm diameter springform pan, lined with aluminum foil, until the ingredients are used up, finishing with the brigadeiro.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Unmold, unmold, decorate with crushed cornflour biscuits and serve.
