Azul reveals new images of the Goofy-inspired plane

This is the airline’s fifth customized aircraft […]

Since 2021, Azul has launched four planes themed with Disney characters, in honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.

With the “World’s Most Magical Fleet,” as the campaign is called, passengers have already seen planes flying with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck printed on the fuselage. And the collection continues to grow.

This Friday, March 1, the airline released the first images of the new A320 with the Goofy, a plane with the PR-YSR prefix that has undergone a customization process at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, and is expected to arrive in Brazil this semester.

“It is a truly magical and unforgettable onboard experience, celebrating the magic of the four Walt Disney World theme parks,” defines Cinthia Douglas, Director of Marketing and Sales, Disney Destinations.

The first A320 of the “Most Magical Fleet in the World” landed in Brazil, in September 2021, at Belo Horizonte International Airport (MG), with the proposal to fly on domestic routes to almost 50 airports in the country.

“The launch of the Mickey Mouse-inspired plane is a truly exciting milestone. It’s even more special to us that this milestone coincides with the start of Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration,” Angel Sarria, director, described at the time of Disney Destinations Marketing, in a note sent to Travel by fare.

The plane with Goofy will join the other Azul-themed planes, inspired by the characters Minnie, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck.
