Converse Weapon Old Money is inspired by the casual look of the basketball universe, but brings a lot of tradition into its design
Converse launches the Weapon Old Money model in Brazil, a reinterpretation of the iconic Weapon family, initially inspired by basketball courts, but now designed to overcome the limits of the game and be used with ease. NBA player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, star of the Oklahoma City Thunder and known for his unique style, is the protagonist of the “Create History, Not Hype” campaign.
Just like Shai’s versatility, which stands out in both basketball and fashion, the campaign’s mission is to merge the casual and sporty universes, personified in Weapon Old Money. The model had already made waves in the country months ago when he arrived in collaboration with Fragment.

Inspired by ’80s basketball court silhouettes, the Weapon Old Money features high-top and low-top versions in a variety of vibrant colors. The Hi versions are available in white with gray accents and black with beige accents. While the Low versions, both in white, stand out for black or beige details, offering versatile options for sneaker and fashion lovers.

Old Money has CX
In addition to the premium leather on the upper and sole and the white parts with an aged look, the model is cushioned with CX foam, the brand’s highest technology. In other words, even though it has a casual focus, it is still suitable for on-court use.
Weapon Old Money is available from this Tuesday (05) for R$ 799.90 in the high version and R$ 749.90 in the low version in the Converse store at Shopping Cidade de São Paulo, in selected points of sale and on Converse .com.br .
