At 16, the skateboarder and Olympic medalist became one of the faces of the French brand




Skateboarder Rayssa Leal, 16, has become the first Brazilian to become a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton, the renowned French brand, according to an announcement made by the brand this Monday 4.

The athlete, an Olympic medalist, was the first Brazilian to be invited to the position. In addition to her, the brand’s ambassadors also include actress Zendaya and the K-Pop group Le Sserafim.

Rayssa was invited to participate in the winter fashion show that will be held this Tuesday 5th in Paris, under the artistic direction of Nicolas Ghesquière, to celebrate 10 years of collaboration with the brand’s women’s line.

On Instagram the young woman showed the photo of the invitation, received with a bouquet of white roses.



The 16-year-old skater became Louis Vuitton's first Brazilian ambassador

At 11, Rayssa was the youngest skater to win a Street League Skateboarding World Tour women’s final.

Having turned 16 last January, the Maranhão native also won a silver medal in her debut at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Rayssa Leal is the current two-time SLS and X Games champion. The young girl is also a world champion in the WS and won a gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Games.
