From 2 to 31 July

The Campos do Jordão International Winter Festival has been running for over 50 years and has established itself as the largest classical music festival in Latin America. Currently, several stages throughout the city, located in the Serra da Mantiqueira, receive trios, quartets and orchestras, among other classical formations, with concerts outdoors or in closed theaters. Paranapiacaba Winter Festival (SP)

On 23, 24, 30 and 31 July

The Paranapiacaba Winter Festival, in the Santo André neighborhood, features music and gastronomy. However, craft fairs, photo exhibitions and storytellers are usually part of the free event. Vermelhos Festival in Ilhabela (SP)

From 8 to 30 July

Ilhabela’s Vermelhos Festival shakes the fortunes of the north coast of São Paulo with musical performances divided into three different phases. Winter in the mountains in Monte Verde (MG)

From 11 June to 14 August

Winter in the Mountains provides free gastronomic activities that will take place on Saturdays and Sundays on the main avenue of Monte Verde, Camanducaia district in Minas Gerais. There will be workshops on naturally fermented bread, macaroni and cheese, Minas Gerais paella, cake and brigadeiro and wine pairing. Ouro Preto, Mariana and João Monlevade Winter Festival (MG)

From 1 to 17 July

The Winter Festival takes place at the same time as Black gold, Mariana And João Monlevade. Organized by the Federal University of Ouro Preto, the presentations will take place in open spaces and with free admission in the three cities of Minas Gerais. The theme of this edition will be “encounters”, inspired by the recovery after a long period of social isolation. There will be musical performances, workshops, theatrical performances, debates, shows, exhibitions and other artistic events. The full program will be announced on the event website. Pomerode Gastronomic Festival (SC)

From 7 to 24 July

or Pomerode Gastronomic Festival is one of the most traditional events in the Valley of Europe, characterized by the creation of unique and themed dishes. This year the 12 participating restaurants have created dishes inspired by the recipes of immigrant families living on the Enxaimel Road, elected by the United Nations (UN) as one of the best in the world for tourism combined with sustainable development. Colonial Festival of Canela (RS)

From 15 to 31 July

The Festa Colonial de Canela is a meeting point for the traditional families of the Serra Gaúcha to sell their products. Cucas, cakes, jams, pastries come out hot from the ovens scattered throughout the Canela Rural space, which also has a stage for music and dance performances. Bahia Winter Festival (BA)

From 26 to 28 August

The Bahia Winter Festival promotes great shows of the most diverse musical styles in Vitória da Conquista, 280 km from Ilhéus. This year, the highlights of the three days of programming are Elba Ramalho and Fagner, Ivete Sangalo, Maria Bethânia, Os Paralamas do Sucesso, Iza, Alok and Zé Neto and Cristiano. Garanhuns Winter Festival (PE)

From 15 to 31 July

The Garanhuns Winter Festival since 1991 animates the interior of the city, which is 230 km from Recife. The largest multicultural event in the North and Northeast, it brings together independent artists and groups from all corners of the country, be it music, dance, visual arts, literature, circus or theater.
