The artist died on March 13, 2014, at the age of 81. He had been fighting kidney cancer since 2008.
Paulo Goulart was married to the actress for 56 years Nicetta Bruno, who died six years later, in 2020, a victim of Covid-19. Together they were parents of Barbara Bruno, Paolo Goulart Son AND Beth Goulart. Active on social media, Beth wanted to honor her father on this memorable date.
10 years without Paulo Goulart
On her official Instagram profile, Beth Goulart, who has more than 1.4 million followers on the digital platform, shared one of the last photos taken with her father. In it Paulo Goulart appears embraced.
“Today marks 10 years since my father left our lives, a profound and significant change. On 03/13/2014 we were all praying around him after his passing”he began writing in the caption of the publication.
Then, he talked about the feeling of losing a father figure. “It’s a leap towards maturity, it’s as if we were learning to swim and suddenly we were thrown into the middle of the sea. Now we have to put the teachings to the test, without a safety net, without a lifeguard, without that hand that helps us in difficult moments “He said.
“It’s been 10 years since the last time I felt your embrace, I haven’t heard your beautiful and protective voice, I haven’t received your smile of encouragement and pride, your always wise and generous advice. Life has become more difficult without you, but I know that you are close to me, in another dimension following our trajectory and this reassures me”Beth Goulart continued.
“I feel you in my heart, differently, but equally present. Receive my tribute, my love and my gratitude, my father, in the form of light, vibration and energy. I love you, my father. Until our reunion into eternity”he concluded.
