The underutilized terrace becomes an elegant gourmet area with granite top


Estúdio Bena used white granite and MDF panels in gray and wood tones to create a timeless aesthetic.

Under the guidance of architect Virginia Caldas, the Studio Bena shone during the implementation of a transformation project in Vila Formosa, São Paulo, in collaboration with a family dissatisfied with their roof terrace.




The terrace, previously underused and disorganized, has been transformed into a central space of the residenceharmonizing functionality with contemporary aesthetics.

The project was designed to meet the specific needs of the family, guaranteeing a a better sectorization of space, comfortable seating areas, expanded storage space and modern finishes. Plumbing, electrical and combustion modifications were made to the barbecue, resulting in a clever “L” shaped layout. The intelligent carpentry stands out, which hides the service function of the space, creating a welcoming environment for moments of leisure and socialization.

Carefully selected materials, such as White granite from Nepal and the MDF panels in shades of gray and wood, they added charm and durability to the environment.

Intelligent carpentry contributed to hide the function of the space service when necessary, adding a touch of elegance and charm to the gourmet area. These solutions, combined with a careful selection of materials and finishes, have guaranteed not only the expected functionality, but also a timeless aesthetics.

A granite worktop It has been designed in a versatile way, serving not only as a food preparation area, but also as a place for casual meals and a staging point for various activities.
