Born in Ribeirão Preto (SP) and 38 years old, Felipinho played at the base of Botafogo-SP and, without any possibility on the pitch, he decided to migrate to the sand, which led to titles, participation in several national tournaments and the creation of a central sport in your hometown.
“I had a very good life with almost 200 students in my sports center, but when I received the invitation to come to the United States, a lot changed. It also involved my two daughters. It involved safety, quality of life and the girls’ study My wife and I also want to achieve new things”, admitted Carbonaro in an exclusive interview with Sport Life.
With the invitation accepted in 2022, this coach gained recognition from famous Brazilians, who spend holidays or live in Orlando, such as former players Diego, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Aldair and Léo Lima, the national couple Henrique and Juliano, the pilot from Stock Car Thiago Camilo, YouTuber and presenter Fred, Milene Domingues, defender Dante, from Nice, France and others.

“Whenever I’m in Orlando, I look to Felipinho to keep me active. He has interesting classes and competent training. Without a doubt, he is the person I recommend when people go to Orlando to look for footvolley. It’s a pleasure, because he is a great teacher” , he declared in an exclusive interview with Sport Life on player and six-time footvolley world champion, two-time Teqball world champion, four-time Queen of the Beach and two-time South American champion Natalia Guitler.
It doesn’t matter if he is famous or not, Felipinho’s proposal is to make a person move through footvolley. At the same time, he also promotes various actions at home, such as tournaments, clinics and actions to improve the quality of life and health.
“I have always been a person interested in evolving my education. I came to Orlando with 20 or 30 students and today the school has 80 or 90 students. So I’m sure it’s a job very well done. Orlando is a city that has a ‘tremendous ability to increase the number of people playing,’ he said.

Ribeirão-pretano is another participant in the NFA (National Footvolley Association) and with only two stages contested, he finished 2022 in sixth place, finished the following year in first and in 2024 is currently in second place.
“The level here is also very good. We have students and athletes who live here and who have also been professionals in Brazil. People come to know about it and always try to improve each in their own state,” he commented.
Where dreams come true
Married and father of two daughters, Felipinho wants to further intensify his job offer in Orlando and, in addition to visiting Walt Disney World, he has realized his dream of playing a footvolley match with his idol Ronaldinho Gaúcho.
“Playing with Ronaldinho Gaúcho was an incredible experience. It is something that never leaves my memory. I look at my photos and videos with him. He is a boy who impresses with his simplicity, that smile on his face and is extremely attentive “, concluded Felipinho Carbonaro.
