Truffled egg spoon to make at home and save money at Easter

Truffled spoon egg

Time: 1h (+6h in the fridge)

Performance: 2 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 500g chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • Black and white polka dots to decorate

Truffle filling:

  • 3 cups chopped milk chocolate
  • 1 pack of cream (200 g)
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate liqueur

Preparation method:

  1. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a bain-marie.
  2. Brush some of the chocolate between two medium-sized Easter egg molds and then place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove and repeat the procedure 2 more times.
  4. Remove from the oven and lightly tap the molds on a surface until they unmold.
  5. Place in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, for the truffle filling, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, add it to the cream and chocolate liqueur.
  7. To assemble, divide the filling between the two egg halves and level with a spoon.
  8. Decorate with sprinkles, wrap in cellophane and keep in the refrigerator for 4 hours before serving.
