With a beveled brush, apply blush diagonally across your face, two finger widths away from the corner of your face. mouth towards the temples. Using a duo fiber brush, blend the blush to avoid marks and to give a more natural effect. “For this type of correction, favor earthy or matte tones, as the shine can give a reviving effect,” explains the makeup artist.

two. Zoom in on your face

According to Sabrina Simões, the basic rule for making your face bigger is to do the thinning process in reverse. “For thinning and masking, use darker colorsand to increase it we must use lighter shades than the natural skin tone.” The recommended option in these cases is to use a creamy concealer with a lighter tone, applying it mainly on the sides of the face.

3. Hide your double chin

For this makeup you can use concealer, foundation or pressed powder, always two shades or more above your skin color. For hide with base, for example, spread the product with a foundation brush or a duo fiber brush over the entire “double chin”, always blending it. “The look should be very discreet, as if that part of the face had not been made up,” the makeup artist instructs.

4. Camouflage skin patches

In some cases, specific concealers are needed to cover facial imperfections. “Depending on the color of the blemish, skin-colored concealer alone will not be effective and will not cover it completely,” explains Sabrina Simões. This is why there are camouflage concealers, such as yellow, lilac and green.

Yellow concealer is used for bruises and dark circles under the eyes. If the spot is melasma, that is, if it has a more brownish color, the lilac concealer is the best solution. And if the the spot is reddish, as for acne, opt for a green concealer. For all situations, remember to apply a nude concealer over the camouflage concealer.

5. Shrink pores

To reduce the appearance of pores it is essential to start with adequate skin preparation. First of all, it is important to clean your face with a delicate soap and apply a moisturizer suitable for your skin type. Next, use a primer, applying it mainly to the T-zone of your face. This product helps fill pores, creating a more even surface for makeup application.
