Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Carnival Flavors
From February 3rd to April 7th
In spring the city parks universal receive the event Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnivalwith dishes inspired by the cuisine of New Orleansthe city that gave rise to Shrove Tuesday, and in the cuisine of other Carnival celebrations around the world. The program also includes parades and shows by great international artists, such as DJ Khaled, Ava Max and Luis Fonsi.
Epcot®International Flower and Garden Festival
From 28 February to 27 May 2024
OR Epcot He spreads bushes sculpted in the shape of Disney characters throughout his gardens. Among these there will be new sculptures of characters such as Groot Guardians of the Galaxy; Asha, Valentino and Estrela Desire – The power of desires; and Michael and Dante from Viva – Life is a party. The event, which takes place throughout the spring, also has a gastronomic character, with stalls selling ready meals and fresh ingredients grown in the region. The party is brought to life by the Garden Rocks concert series, which takes place daily at the America Gardens Theatre.
Seven Seas Food Festival
From April 6th to May 19th, Saturday and Sunday
The event of SeaWorld has more than 200 international cuisine options, including Asian, Latin, Polynesian, Indian, French and vegetarian foods. There are also 75 craft beer options and 35 other wines and drinks. The program includes parades and live performances by artists Hanson, The Goo Goo Dolls, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, The Righteous Brothers, Boyce Avenue and Natalie Grant, also at Bayside Stadium.
33rd Florida Film Festival
From 12th to 21st April
Organized by Enziano Theatreor Florida Film Festival is an Oscar-qualifying event that premieres the best of current independent and international cinema. During the ten-day gala, visitors can watch and participate in more than 160 films and events, including appearances by directors and celebrities.
The 33rd Annual Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival
From May 15th to 27th
Over the course of two weeks, the Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival – Also known as Orlando Fringe – hosts more than 850 theater performances by local, national and international artists, as well as a free outdoor music festival. OR Loch Haven Parkclose to the center of Orlandoserves as the event’s main campus, and select programming also takes place at locations in nearby neighborhoods.
What distinguishes this festival is that the participating artists are selected by lottery. This means that a veteran artist has the same chance of being chosen to perform as someone who has never been on stage in her life. Plus, all the money raised from ticket sales goes back to these artists.
Although many events are aimed at adults, there is a special program for the whole family, called Fringe for children.
Orlando Carnival downtown
From May 24th to 26th
Present at the festival are the flavors of Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Guyana, Barbados and other Caribbean nations Orlando Carnival downtown, which has been going on for more than three years. The four-day festival also has parades and music festivals on the agenda: the first day of the event takes place in Word Camping Stadium and the rest, inside Tinkerers’ camp.
