Creamy Braised Foot Recipe

Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups (tea) sugar
  • 300 g raw peanuts in shell
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of chocolate powder
  • Margarine for greasing
  • Crystalline sugar to pass

Preparation method:

  1. Pour the sugar and peanuts into a pan.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes or until you obtain a golden caramel.
  3. Without stopping stirring, add the condensed milk, butter, salt and chocolate.
  4. Continue stirring for 10 minutes or until it comes away from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Pour into a greased medium rectangular pan and leave to cool.
  6. Cut into diamonds with a knife and dip them in crystalline sugar. Tip: Store in a closed container.
