According to Marcelo Bechara, a general practitioner and weight loss specialist, these patients undergoing weight loss treatments could be insulin resistant or diabetic.

Since Ozempic helps in weight loss, it improves sugar metabolism in the body, thus increasing the chances of getting pregnant.

However, since there is no scientific study on Ozempic in pregnant women, the use of the drug is not recommended. Therefore, its use is suspended and another drug is introduced to control blood sugar-related problems.
