A super easy and cold mousse, prepared with just 2 mandatory ingredients

Recipe for 4 people.

Classic (no restrictions), Vegetarian

Preparation: 00:20 + time to harden in the fridge

1 cutting board(s), 1 milk jug, 1 whisk (optional), 1 bowl(s) (optional)

EQUIPMENT

mixer (optional) + mini processor (optional) + conventional

METERS

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Ingredients Chocolate Mousse 2 Ingredients:

– 300 g of chopped semi-sweet chocolate or calletti (or milk chocolate)

– 1 and 1/2 cups of fresh cream

Ingredients TO COMPLETE:

– hazelnuts to taste, lightly toasted and chopped (optional) (or Brazil nuts)

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the recipe ingredients and utensils.
  2. If you opt for farofa for finishing, finely chop with a knife or process the brazil nuts or toasted hazelnuts (optional) until you obtain a coarse farofa.

PREPARATION:

Chocolate mousse 2 Ingredients:

  1. Coarsely chop the chocolate into small pieces (or use it in the callets) and place it in the bowl of the mixer or in a bowl.
  2. In a milk jug, heat the cream over low heat.
  3. When it reaches boiling point, turn off the heat, do not let it boil.
  4. Place the chocolate in the bowl with the hot cream and mix with a spatula.
  5. Beat, with a mixer, or with a wire whisk in a bowl, until the mixture is smooth and very homogeneous.
  6. Distribute the chocolate mixture into individual cups.
  7. Place it in the fridge for at least 4 hours to firm up.
  8. Set aside in the fridge until ready to serve to preserve the consistency of the mousse.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. When serving, remove the bowls with the chocolate mousse 2 ingredients from the refrigerator.
  2. Finish with brazil nuts or chopped hazelnuts (optional).
