Carrot Burger: Easy vegetarian option in just 20 minutes

For vegetarians and those who are curious about cooking, a quick and easy homemade sandwich is the carrot burger, which is extremely tasty and will win over even meat eaters. By eliminating the minced meat in the traditional version, carrots replace the ingredient on the list which remains almost the same, as does the quick and easy preparation method.

Carrot burger

Time: 20 minutes

Performance: 4 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 large onion grated
  • 1 cup chopped green chili pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 4 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 4 slices of mozzarella
  • 4 slices of tomato

Preparation method:

  1. Mix the carrot, onion, green chili pepper, egg, milk, flour, parmesan, salt and pepper.
  2. Form 4 burgers, using a spoon, and fry them one at a time in the oil until golden brown.
  3. Top each with a slice of mozzarella and then a slice of tomato.
  4. Place in a mold and bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  5. Assemble the sandwich as you prefer and serve it immediately.
