– 1/2 large garlic clove, minced (optional)

MILANESA WITHOUT WHEAT IN THE AIRFRYER Ingredients:

– 1 unit of egg diluted in a little filtered water, or enough.

– 1/2 cup(s) extra fine cassava flour, or enough for breading.

– salt to taste (pinch)

– pepper to taste THE

Ingredients TO SPRAY OR BRUSH (optional)

-oil to taste (optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Start by preparing and seasoning the steaks (see preparation).
  2. Set aside the other ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  3. Beat the eggs with a little salt in a bowl or shallow plate.
  4. Place the fine cassava flour in another bowl or shallow plate.
  5. Preheat the Airfryer for 3-5 minutes at 200°C.

PREPARATION:

Steaks (this step must be done during pre-prep):

  1. Peel the garlic (optional) and chop it very finely.
  2. Cut the meat of your choice into steaks of approximately 100 g per unit (2 per person).
  3. Place the steaks, one at a time, in a plastic bag and on a cutting board, beat them with a whisk until they are thin and of uniform thickness.
  4. Season with minced garlic (optional), salt and pepper and set aside.
  5. Continue pre-preparation (step 2).

Grain-free Milanese steak in Airfryer:

  1. Lightly coat the steaks in the cassava flour and shake off the excess.
  2. Next, dip in the beaten egg(s) and drain.
  3. Finally, pass them again in the cassava flour and press well so that they are well breaded.
  4. Brush or drizzle the steaks with a drizzle of oil, this will ensure they create a crispier crust, also adding another layer of flavor to the preparation. However, this technique is not mandatory and the steaks can be roasted without fat if you prefer.
  5. Place them in the basket of the Airfryer preheated to 200ºC, without overlapping them: depending on the quantity of steaks and the size of the basket of the equipment, cook the steaks in several stages.
  6. Close the Airfryer drawer and cook for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden brown – cooking time depends on the thickness of your steaks and the power of your equipment.
  7. Halfway through, open the Airfryer drawer and flip the steaks.
  8. Remove the drawer.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Reorder steaks breaded without wheat in the Airfryer on a serving plate or, if you prefer, distribute it directly onto the plates.
