Prayer for impossible causes

“O powerful and glorious Saint Rita, here at your feet is a defenseless soul who, in need of help, turns to you with the sweet hope of being cared for by you who have the title of Saint of impossible and desperate cases.

O dear saint, interested in my cause, intercede with God to grant me the grace I so need (please make the request).

Don’t let me leave your feet unassisted.

If there is any obstacle in me that prevents me from achieving the grace I ask for, help me remove it.

Wrap my request in your precious merits and present it to your heavenly husband, Jesus, in union with your prayer. O Saint Rita, I place all my trust in you. Through you I await with serenity the grace I ask of you.”

Saint Rita, Advocate of the Impossible, pray for us.”

Intercessory prayer

“Oh, blessed Saint Rita, you who have always trusted in God, who have known how to love and forgive in the name of Jesus, letting yourself be guided every day by the light of the Holy Spirit, listen to the prayer that humbly presents you and present yourself with confidence.

Intercede with almighty and merciful God. Grant us peace of heart, so that we can, like You, live in faith and love, without ever despairing. May we too arrive one day, with you and with all the saints, to eternal joy in communion with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
