ARUBA

A favorite of Brazilians, Aruba is located 25 kilometers off the coast of South America and is one of the Caribbean islands with year-round heat, little rain and out of hurricane paths.

The destination is also known for its white sand beaches and clear waters, casinos and adventure itineraries, such as 4×4 jeep safaris and kitesurfing.

According to Ronella Croes, CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority, the island “debuted on the Brazilian market in 1985 and has maintained a constant presence since then, overcoming several challenges over the past 39 years.”

Croes also recalls that the destination reached a significant milestone in 2014, when it registered a record number of Brazilians: 24,733 tourists. At the time, GOL offered flights to Aruba with connections in Caracas, Venezuela.

“The Aruba Tourism Authority expects an approximately 50% increase in Brazilian visitors for 2025, compared to the expected performance for 2023,” says Croes.
