The Olympikus QU4DRA BR1 brings high-performance technologies to volleyball and was co-created with Brazilian national team setter Bruno Rezende
Olympikus announces its return to the volleyball scene with the launch of the QU4DRA BR1, a high-performance sneaker developed in collaboration with Bruno Rezende, one of the biggest names in world volleyball. The model, which symbolizes the union between innovation and expertise of an elite athlete, will be on sale this Thursday (06) on the brand’s website and in the main footwear and sporting goods stores in the country for R$ 499.99.
The QU4DRA BR1 stands out for its technological innovations such as Eleva Pro, which guarantees superior cushioning and lightness, offering a sensation of spring similar to a trampoline, according to the brand. The base of the shoe features Gripper technology, which uses rubber that prevents slipping and ensures a sturdy grip on the ground, as well as featuring a design of organic curves and lines that minimize wear and promote better stability during rapids changes of direction in the game.

The upper part of the shoe (upper) is made of polyester, offering firm support around the ankle and an ideally spaced mesh for ventilation of the foot. The insole, anatomical and composed of polyester and EVA with a thickness of 4 mm, adapts perfectly to the foot, preventing slipping and maximizing comfort during use. Additionally, TPU side panels and toe protection are crucial elements for a perfect fit in high impact and activity areas.

Olympikus’ relationship with volleyball is not new. Since the 1990s, the brand has been an active sponsor of athletes and bodies linked to this sport, including the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation and the Brazilian Olympic Committee, consolidating itself as a fundamental supporter since 1999. The partnership begins with Bruno Rezende, or Bruninho in 2020, strengthens this commitment, now culminating in the launch of QU4DRA BR1, designed to meet the needs of athletes on and off the field.

Volleyball comes from birth
Bruninho, recognized worldwide for his skill as a setter and for his successful career in volleyball, influenced by his parents, former players Bernardinho and Vera Mossa, had an active participation in the development of tennis. The creation process drew on his expertise to ensure the final product offered technology, comfort, propulsion and design.

Available in blue with green details, lime with orange details, black and white (both with brown sole) and up to size 48, the model has a look that matches different styles, ranging from sporty to streetwear. Bruninho has already used the QU4DRA BR1 in major competitions, such as the Nations League, and plans to also use it at the 2024 Paris Olympics, highlighting the quality and potential of tennis in high-competition scenarios.
