Chef Rafael Morandi teaches three quick recipes to make with this portable appliance

The mixer offers the home kitchen a great opportunity to make some preparations more practical: it emulsifies, chops, regulates the consistency of sauces and broths directly in the pan, speeds up some desserts. In any case, in a thousand ways, this portable appliance can be your right-hand man in recipes.

The problem of practicality does not only emerge during the execution of the recipes, but the drafting is also made simpler. Instead of mobilizing an entire blender and having to wash the bowl, lid and propellers, you have a simplified task when it comes to cleaning and tidying up your kitchen, so you can spend more time with your family, doing the things you love.

We invited chef Rafael Morandi, professor of the Gastronomy Technology course at the Senac University Center – Santo Amaro, to prepare some easy recipes that show the potential of the mixer for those who are looking to purchase, or even for those who already have and want to discover what else can this tool do.

Green mayonnaise

A very famous recipe in snack bars throughout Brazil, this version of green mayonnaise can be the perfect accompaniment to fries, burgers or any other type of dish you desire.

Blending mayonnaise in a blender is less mechanically demanding than making it by hand and, at the same time, it is less complicated than preparing it in a blender or food processor. All this without losing the effectiveness and ideal consistency of mayonnaise.

Classic gazpacho

Gazpacho is a cold soup very popular in the countries of the Iberian Peninsula, especially in Spain. The base of the broth is tomato, which gives color and flavor to the soup, and combined with other vegetables and seasonings, it is part of an easy and refreshing recipe to enjoy on hot days, or even when we feel like eating something very light. Is it tasty.

Vegan avocado mayonnaise

By adding just three ingredients to your mixer you can make a super light vegan mayonnaise that leaves nothing to be desired compared to the conventional recipe, which uses eggs.

The ingredient that will make all this possible is avocado, rich in so-called ‘good fats’ and flavour, as well as a pulp that allows the mayonnaise to structure itself without the need for many other ingredients to be ready quickly. The chef’s suggestion is to add more seasonings to your taste, and you can check the base by clicking on the link below.
